Farm Fresh Blueberry Cake
It is the taste of summer. Let’s get into making this easy summer blueberry cake.
This cake will always bring me back to my summer days growing up in New Jersey. Now, New Jersey gets a bad rap sometimes, and I am here to defend that state until the day that I die. Not only does New Jersey get a bad rap, but Central Jersey gets an even worse one!
But low and behold, that is where I am from, the beautiful area of Central Jersey. Know for its rolling hills and a whole lot of nothing to do, the farm fresh produce is something worth raving for. After all, we are the Garden State for a reason. Not only are the tomatoes and corn to die for, but if you find a roadside farm stand with fresh blueberries, you are in luck. Here is my favorite simple recipe to make with these New Jersey Blueberries, or whatever you can find at the store!
What you will need:
1 pound of fresh blueberries
Flour
Sugar
1 lemon
How to make it:
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Combine the blueberries with.
Bake at 350F for 35 minutes.
Let the cake cool to room temperature. Enjoy and share with friends :)

Not only did I get the chance to grow up in the beautiful state of New Jersey, but recently my parents have made the move down South to Charleston, South Carolina. This change in zip code has unlocked a door to new flavors, tastes, and ingredients to explore within the rich culture of Charleston.
Within weeks of their arrival, our neighbors shared a key Southern recipe including fresh tomatoes. With the produce peaking in August, we had come just in time. I will say this, the Southern recipes hold true in their love of cheese and carbs! Crack into this one for a nice summer dish.
What you will need:
5 large tomatoes
Fresh basil
Parmasean cheese
Pie crust
